Meet My Sister...the Newly Ordained Pastor Amber Bergeson!

It is with great excitement that we announce that my sister...Amber Sue...is now an ordained minister!  We were excited to be a part of her special day on September 30, 2012.  We all went up to Aberdeen that day.  Her ceremony was at 4 p.m.  Here are some pictures I took during the ordination...

Our Trip to the Pumpkin Patch!

Pumpkin Patch Trip 2012

I took the girls to the pumpkin patch south of Worthington the end of September.  We needed some pumpkins for our house and it was a beautiful evening.  Jason was busy farming which is a good time for us to go.  We go right after work and school and just stay for about 30-45 min.  Our girls didn't have their pumpkin shirts on but beings the Twins season was about over, I thought they should wear these shirts that day!  This was Monroe's first trip there so she had fun sitting by the pumpkins and trying to stand by them! 

We bought some apples and caramel dip too while we were there. 

I love fall!  Going to the pumpkin patch and apple orchard really puts me in the spirit!

Farming Season Has Arrived!

Jason's favorite time of year...farming season!  He started helping his good friend Daren B. in early September.  I took these pictures the 3rd Saturday in September.  Here's hoping he gets lots of truck time, tractor time, farming time...as he loves it!  Go honey go!



Presley Trys Out Volleyball!

As a second grader, you have the option of doing girls volleyball through the Y in the fall.  Presley was excited to try it.  I was in volleyball until 6th grade and my sister did it all through high school.  We both encouraged her to give it a try.  To our delight...she loved it!  Here are some pictures from her first 3 games...

They play 3 or 6 games every Saturday for 6 weeks.  There are 4 teams of 5-7 girls.  2 of the weeks they have double headers so that's where the 6 games comes in.  The last Saturday they have an Optimist Club challenge and they can win some great prizes. 

There first games were a little rough but they will only grow from here!  It is fun to watch them.  Good job Presley!
