Freshening up the Office!

Our New Year's weekend was wide open so we (ok, maybe it was just me) decided...let's paint the office!  That was the first room we painted when we moved in 10 1/2 years ago.  It was all paneling and I did not want paneling.  However, we didn't want to take the paneling down and have to re-sheet rock it...so we painted over it with white.  It was the only white room in our house.  I found a light-medium gray I liked so we went with that.  Of course we had helpers...and they did a great job!



After we painted, we did a little rearranging!  It turned out really nice!  Thanks to my great helpers! 

Madison's Birthday Party with our families!

We decided to have Madison's birthday party with our family on the 26th.  Although her birthday was on the 20th, that was the day that everyone could come.  We had supper at our house with 3 different kinds of soups, grilled cheese, grilled ham and cheese, little smokies, sausage and cheese, and cake (of course).  It was a fun party to celebrate our 5 year old!  Here are the pictures I took at her party...

Merry Christmas - Part 4

Merry Christmas...one more time!  We celebrated Christmas with my dad on the 26th.  We enjoyed breakfast egg bake together (waffles for me!) and opened presents after!
