Happy Halloween 2012!

Our Halloween this year was a little different then other years.  Presley and Madison both had the flu during the night of the 29th so I stayed home with them on the 30th.  They seemed to be doing well so I brought them to town on the 31st (Halloween) for daycare and school and right as we got to town, they both didn't feel well.  So, I took Monroe to Shelly's in hopes of preventing her from getting it and brought Presley and Madison home.  I told them depending on how they did all day would depend on if we went a couple places that night.  Luckily, they both rested a lot during the day so we decided to take them just to the grandparents to trick-or-treat.  We wounldn't be hitting our usual 10+ stops and going up and down any neighborhoods.  They were just fine with that.  Here are some pictures I took that day...

Pre-Halloween Fun!

I decided to send out Halloween cards to our family and close friends this year so we did a mini photo shoot a couple weeks before so I had some pictures to put in the card!  Here are the pictures I took...

This is Monroe's first Halloween pumpkin!!

The Friday night before Halloween I took Madison to the Y's Halloween Party.  Presley was staying at a friends house and Madison wanted to do something fun too.  Jason stayed home with Monroe.  Madison put her costume on and we went and played for a little over an hour.  Then we went out to ice cream with the Luinenburg's and she ended up going to their house to stay over night. 

Annual Halloween Party!

Our good friends, the Donkersloot's, had their Annual Halloween Party on 10-27-12.  For the past 5 years or more they have rented a van or bus and we have all dressed up and went bar hopping.  We meet at their house for supper and then head out.  We go to a few places in Worthington and then have went to Wilmont, Lismore, Adrian, etc.  It is usually a very late night...but lots of fun!

Too Cute!

MEA weekend we decided to go to Aberdeen for a couple nights and help Amber and Kevin move into their new house.  We had helped them move the end of June to a rental house.  They found one in August to buy and moved in mid-October.  We got there on Thursday night and left Saturday night so we could have all of Sunday to recoup. 

I took these couple pictures of Monroe on Saturday afternoon when we were headed to take some family pictures for our Christmas card!  She was so tired...I don't think she could of held that baby any tighter!  I just had to post these couple pictures of her!  Our sleeping beauty...

Monroe Turns 11 Months Old!

In just 1 short month, our baby girl is going to be 1.  This has been the fastest year ever.  Here are some of her stats at 11 months...

Weight - 20 lbs, 8 oz. (taken on our scale at home on 10-22-12)

Her sleeping and eating habits are about the same as 10 months.  Her big accomplishments is that she drank out of a straw and out of a sippy cup.  We will work on this more the next couple months.  She will also get her first flu shot this month.  She will have to get 2 flu shots.
